More walking

We walked our legs off! Sheesh!

Street performers

Outside the shop were some street performers. One guy was a ball dancer and the other was a knife dancer

Holy cow!

It was so nice inside the cake place (turned out to be some kind of fancy food store) and the prices were reasonable! (about $1 for a croissant.)

Explore!

We then went searching for that really cool shop with the nice cakes

Soccer

They also had a soccer game going on. It was so crowded!

Sailor dance

They had younger people dancing (I'm guessing from a ballet school). It was great!

Brides

There was also a wedding dress show!!

Moving statues

These guys were really cool! They moved slowly to Mozart music :)

Petting zoo

There was a petting zoo there. I wanted to pet some of the animals. And I saw the biggest raven there!

Festival in the winter palace

This was during the festival on Sunday. The square outside the winter palace was crowded with performers and the likes. It was great!

I hate Tuesdays

Oh hey Niki! How was your morning?

Oh fine, except for the fact that TD has shut my fathers visa down, which made us run around town to find a bank that would take TD debit (I'll give you a hint, out of four banks none did). And the only bank we knew took debit was on the other side of town.

AND the hotel lady told us to leave by 10:30 for our 1:45 flight (but of course we couldn't because when we tried to check out we didn't have money, and my visa is maxed out due to the whole hospital thing). So I was getting upset and we go back to the hotel and the lady says 'well let's try your American express' (she said they didn't take it) and it worked....yah...

So we left at about 11:30, traffic was horrible because we were on the island and only two bridges LEAVE the island. We got here (the airport) at 1 and oh guess what? They're no longer taking passengers! So we had to buy new plane tickets with the money on hand we had (literally JUST enough. We only have $15 now).

So that was MY day. Dad has gone to try to exchange some money (or find the one bank that takes our card). And did I mention that again, no one here speaks English? We finally found a guy but...sorry I'm just a little emotional.

It's like, we have the money electronically but we can't get to it at the moment. That was very uncool of you visa. Very.

(I guess when dad sold the house they have to now issue him a new one, and he said 'i'll be our of the country, so don't cancel it while I'm away.' and then they did. Good. Awesome. I'm not even surprised.)
