The spoken language

Our tour guide in training, Nin, is also learning Chinese and Russian. When I first told her she was surprised and asked me to speak to her. So today I was on the train brushing my teeth when she came in and told me 'Niki! There is a Chinese man in my cabin who wants to practice Chinese with you' I told her I'm not good but she brought me to her cabin anyway.

It was fun! My Chinese is bad but Nin kept teaching me new words and helping me along. The man said he wanted to learn English, so when Nin told him I was studying Chinese he wanted to ask if he could practice.

I learned a lot. Also, here in Mongolia they use the Russian alphabet! Nin and I keep testing each other's reading skills by reading signs to each other.

:D
